Day 8 Florence - Verona - Venice

Leaving Florence we travelled to Verona where we had a guided tour of the city and then to Romeo  & Juliets balcony...not as many people there today compared to the last visit...but still very crowded...the Arena here at Verona was built before the Colosseum, and the city of Verona  comes under UNESCO, so the buildings are very well kept, this must cost a lot but the heritage of these buildings makes one wonder why in Brisbane we are just destroying it all..such a shame...From Verona we headed off to Venice, and we are staying on what they say is mainland Venice not the wet side of Venice...the country side is forever changing and tunnels and highways once again show the brilliance of design to keep the traffic moving smoothly..
